Good Judgement and Patience

Sometimes we lose our cool, we feel we just can’t stand in line anymore, waiting. Something is so off, as if we lost all hope, as if suddenly whatever were doing isn’t worth it anymore. But almost anything that has inherent value feels challenging. We can even conjecture there is an implicit definition: something that we value must be difficult.

Still, we can’t just remove negative emotions and keep up the good ones, like motivation. Boredom is actually telling us something doesn’t feel nurturing to our self. So, even if patience, acceptance and hope obviously lead us to tranquility, some days can just feel so unbearable. These are the challenging days, when me must choose to put in deliberate efforts to keep pushing through.

How much is too much? Actually, there is no way to tell. You don’t need anyone’s opinion to be yourself. You needn’t approval to begin living your life as you want to live it. If you decide it is worth to build a long-lasting relationship of trust and acceptance with some one or around some things: the time and effort required are by definition what you actually want to put into that. That’s why patience is the hallmark of upright decisions and good intent!
