Gratitude

Gratitude is a positive thinking pattern that protects you from things that otherwise could get to into you and make you feel bad or wronged. It is a mark of resilience and helps you cultivate a good heart. You can be grateful of things you don’t control, but also, you can direct gratitude towards your own self, allowing it some grace.

When you show compassion and empathy for people, especially when you don’t know them, you make space for deeper connections. That’s why, besides all its benefits, gratitude is socially advantageous: it improves relationships. The same happens when you thank yourself. Gratitude is then telling tell your brain that you are happy, acting as a way of programming your mind, just as making your face smile also helps you be happier.

So, the next time you find yourself in the midst of frustration, I invite you to try to and be thankful, even though. Remember even failures and difficulties can be turned into a lesson. OK, it’s not that easy, but if you manage to do it sincerely, I’m pretty sure it will make you feel better.
